Geometry was my favorite math class

The skirt transitions that we've seen between the past five years have gone from the American Apparel high waisted fake leather shiny skirt to high waisted loose skirts to hi - low skirts, etc.  Now, I've been seeing these skirts (below) around. If I had to guess why they are thriving in the fashion world right, I would say it's because they reflect geometric shapes.  By now, we all know that various squares, rectangles, pentagons, octagons, nonagons (is that 9?) are all being expressed on different clothing items.

Here are various examples of fashion designers use of geometric shapes

Honestly, give it a year, and we just might!
