when you go to lans old town you only think of one thing: the owner

I'm going to eat at lans old town in a few minutes; it's a Chinese restaurant in Old Town (hence the name), and I think it's the best Chinese food I've had in Chicago thus far. (I've lived here two years now). ...anyways, it's cold--thus the black, winter, depressing outfit below:

Sweater-- Bloomingdales
Grey tank top underneath-- H&M
Necklace -- Chloe and Isabel
Leggings -- American Apparel
Leg Warmers -- Shanna Lakin (no clue)
Boots -- Nordstrom

Sorry, in a hurry! Have a fun Thursday night!

Made in Chelsea

If you like the Hills, you will like Made in Chelsea.  Made in Chelsea is pretty much a replica of the Hills but located in London and a little cheesier.  Yet, of course, it's great television. If you are ever bored, give it a try, and I promise (at least the girls) won't be able to stop watching. If you search it on On Demand, you should be able to find it; YouTube is easier though. Just to let you know, I'm in the middle of the 5th season :)

Are you a foodie? READ THIS

If you know me, you know I am not a "foodie."  I don't really even know what that means, but I take it as someone that eats at a lot of unique restaurants and can instagram cool pictures of various dishes :) I wish I was a foodie, because that would mean I also have great taste in food.  However, again if you know me, you know I only eat plain food -- literally -- plain cheerios, plain noodles, plain hot dog... aka the palette of a 5 year old.  This isn't because of a diet, it just really is what I like; I know it's weird.  Anyways, I do like trying new restaurants, and I always tend to find something good to eat at most of them.  If you live in Chicago, you know it's very easy to spend your money eating out.  Yet, I feel like I ALWAYS eat at the same places-- Hub 51, Portillos, Oysy, Sushi X, Quartino, etc... these places are great, but I really want to try some new spots ... sooooo I asked someone who I would consider an awesome "foodie."  Yes, her pictures on instagram of hamburgers or whatever from Au Cheval have looked awesome :)  She gave me a VERY long list of restaurants that she has wanted to go to, and I give her props because she has checked off a significant amount of them already! So drum bells... here's the list for all of you to try and make an attempt at yourselves. I'm sorry if you don't live in Chicago--they are only Chi Town places:

I put a red x next to the places I've been to..and the more x's next to the name, the better I thought it was.

--beauts--

--happy campers--

We went to dinner at Hub 51, and these little goons met us there (below)

While we were at American Junkie, NBC was there interviewing people about the Hawks.  A couple of my friends made it on the 10 pm news and are now very famous :)

Watch it here:

Friday night was the Rolling Stones concert, and it was unbelievable! Sheryl Crow came out at one point, which was also great.

I would say it was a successful weekend, and I am already counting down the days until next Friday :)  By the way, next weekend is the Wells Street Art Festival. If you want to find unique pieces of jewelry, bags, and whatever else you want, I would suggest going because it's awesome.
