Nah, I'm not going to talk about the Titanic or Celine Dion.... but the Celine Black Leather Luggage Tote bag. I have seen this bag at least once a day... randomly on Pinterest, on various websites featuring celebrities carrying it, etc... here it is:

Pretty cool, right? I'm going to go shake the money tree in my backyard and capture 2k to pay for it.  (I wish). For those of you that can afford this, get it; it's that staple I've talked about in previous posts.  If there's an item that is classic and will last forever, then you should spend whatever amount of money you want on it.  You will also probably also feel like a baller walking around with this, which doesn't hurt :)

I'm not really a designer person, but Celine has definitely become one of my favorites for bags (alongside Tory Burch and Rebecca Minkoff).  Here are some celebrities carrying this bag in various colors:

Jennifer Garner

Miley Cyrus

Nicky Hilton

Oprah Winfrey

Jessica Simpson

Leighton Meester

EVER BUYING

As I was bored laying on the couch last night rummaging through Pinterest, I saw this picture of a phone charger:

with the label "This website has tons of cheap stuff. This charger is only $1.89! Can we say stocking stuffers?" Even though this person may need to be reminded that Christmas is not for another 7ish months, I had to click and find out what this was.

This website is called everbuying.com, and you can buy the charger here.  These are some other items I found that intrigued me:

...these flat kind of shoes are really in style now... remember when I talked about the 2750s from Shopgrl?

They're pretty similar.. at least the flatness, stylish part about them.

(again, the vintage thing)

(I know some of you like to do puzzles for fun. Although that's not my go-to activity, but if it was, this seems legit.)

So... I could keep going, but you can just search through this website yourself.  For those of you nervous to buy things online, I understand, but just know you can always return it.  This website may be a good way to start considering everything is so cheap. Yet, for those of you apprehensive about the online shopping ordeal, these prices may be a red flag to you. Therefore, I searched around a little to see what was up... The only thing I could really find was that the website has had a little over 12 million views...I don't know if that would convince any of you that it's legit, but it's worth a shot.  If you're bored, just knock yourself out and search around a little bit. You might find something worth taking the risk for :)

EDC and 40 degree weather

So this past weekend was EDC Chicago... and it was amazing, but really cold. Everyone pretty much wore what he/she would have worn had it been 80 degrees, which is dumb, but I did it too. Thankfully I had this massive sweatshirt that someone let me borrow for the weekend, otherwise I think I would have gone through hypothermia.  Honestly though, when everyone was dancing around it was fine. The first day I stupidly wore sandals and thought my feet were actually going to freeze off. If you want to know what people wore to a festival when it was 40 degrees colder than normal festival weather, here you go:

(this would be a cool pic if I knew this chick)

(This was the first day, and I was cold)

(this was the infamous flower)

(we went on this ride and went go carting, which was awesome for so many reasons)

(so much love)

Here are some of the videos I found on my phone :)

After these three days, I literally cannot move...........and can't wait to do it all again  for Spring Awakening in a few weeks!

F*ck it lets drink..and make tank tops

I'm more of a tank top person than a t-shirt person. Therefore, whenever I somehow acquire a t-shirt that I hate, instead of throwing it out or giving it away, I just turn it into a tank top.  This happened a lot in college with tailgating shirts and stuff like that.  My friend, Allie, saw a shirt on Fab.com that said, "Fuck It Lets Drink," and she told me I needed to purchase it.  Naturally, I did.  When it arrived (literally three weeks later eek), I tried it on and thought it was odd fitting, so I finally found the time to turn it into a tank top.  If you follow these steps, you'll be able to do this to any shirt as well :)

STEP ONE:

Lay out the shirt (really should be on a hard surface, but I was too lazy to get off the couch)

STEP TWO:

Find a thicker-strapped tank top to lay on top of your t-shirt. I have a ton that I have previously cut, so that's what I used, but any normal tank top will work.

STEP THREE:

Take a marker or pen and outline the sleeves of the tank top on to the t-shirt. Use your discretion to determine how long you want the side openings to be. Obviously, the farther down the side of the t-shirt you draw the line, the longer the hole will be (which you may or may not like)

STEP FOUR:

Do the same thing on the other side, and then remove the tank top from the top of the t-shirt.

STEP FIVE:

Take a scissors and cut along the lines you drew.

STEP SIX:

Your lines will probably be a little jagged, but you can always go back and clean them up.

STEP SEVEN:

Cut the other side as well (unless you want a half tank top and t-shirt). Normally, the next thing I would do after cutting the sleeves off would be to slightly cut around the neckline (you can see I did that on the blue Cubs shirt above).  However, this shirt is really thin, and since the neck wasn't thick, I didn't think I would need to mess with it.

STEP EIGHT:

 Waaalaaaaa...now I have a tank top that I will actually wear :)
